1. If you're looking to add rich text to an existing trip, click into that trip

For the sake of this exercise, I'm going to add rich text to an activity within a trip. But, keep in mind, you can use this formatting most places across the product like notes, activities, messages, etc.

2. Once in the trip, click into the activity you're looking to format

In this case, I'm going to edit the "Stay at Lume Boutique Hotel" activity.

3. Click on 'Edit Activity'

4. You'll see that originally, I just had a block of plain text in this activity. Now, using the rich text editor, I’ll enhance the description by adding formatting and additional content.

5. Starting with a new line in the description of this activity, you'll see the '+' sign

This plus sign, when selected, will expose the rich text options you now have.

6. Click the '+' sign to see the breakdown of things you can add to this description

I'm going to create a header first by selecting 'Heading.'

7. Now enter in the Heading context

I'm adding "Information about Lume Boutique Hotel" into this activity description.

8. Next, let's add an image to this activity description by clicking the '+' sign in a new line

I'm going to add this image at the very end of my description, as shown below.
