Want to save yourself a ton of time, and make a streamlined process for your potential clients? Let's take a look at using the Trip Request form in your website's call to action area, and triggering a workflow when a trip has been created!

Step 1. Create your Trip Request Form

As a reminder, check out our article all about Forms, specifically the Trip Request Form by clicking here.

Step 2. Copy your Trip Request form link.

You can copy a link to your form in one of two ways.

  1. While editing the form, click the Share button in the upper right corner of your screen. Then click copy link.

  2. In the Forms section of your Library, click the share icon. Then click copy link.

Step 3. Use that link in your website's call to action area.

Almost every website has a call to action area. Whether it's your "Getting Started" button in the top right of the screen, like with our demo agency site below. Or it's a button in another area of your home page. You want to have an area of your website that is drawing in new clients, and provide a clear way for these leads to work with you, or at least start that process.

  1. Use the link that you've copied to your Trip Request form and paste that link into your "Get Started" button.

Step 4. Set up your Trip Request Automation

Now that your clients have an easy way to begin giving you details about their next vacation, you will want an easy way to automate your inquiry process!

  1. Create a Workflow by Navigating to Library, then scrolling to the bottom left of your page and clicking Workflow.

  2. Click New Workflow, and choose Trip

  3. Name your Workflow, and begin adding your preferred tasks and automations to your workflow.

  4. At the bottom of your workflow, choose your workflow trigger in the area labeled "Auto Apply"

If you wanted your workflow to automatically apply when any trip is created, choose the Trip Created trigger. If you would prefer to manually add trips to a "Lead" status within your Trip Planning stages, then Trip Status Changed is a great option too! Finally, if you would like to manually tag a new trip with Website lead or something of your preference, use the Trip Tag Added option to auto-apply this workflow to all trips tagged with that specific trip tag.
