Email All Travelers in Your Group Trip

The group trip emails feature lets you send a single email to every traveler across your group trip at once—no need to email each sub-trip separately.

To send an email to all travelers:

  1. Open your group trip and go to the Emails tab.

  2. Click Email all travelers.

  3. All travelers with an email address are selected by default.

  4. Compose your email, then choose to send immediately or schedule it for later.

  5. Customize the email with variables, if applicable

    1. Recipient first name

    2. Trip name: the name of the parent group trip

    3. Trip link: a direct link to the parent group trip

    4. Sub trip name: the name of the sub trip of the traveler who receives the email

    5. Sub trip link: a link to the sub trip of the traveler who receives the email

  6. Emails will send individually to each selected traveler

How emails are logged

Every email you send shows up in your group trip's Emails tab. Tern also tags each email to the relevant sub-trip, so it appears in both places—the sub-trip level and the group trip level. That way, you always have a full picture of what was sent and where.
