Agency Dropdown Filtering in Bookings

How host agency admins can use the Agency filter to view bookings for a specific sub-agency in Tern.

If your host agency has sub-agencies, you can filter your bookings by agency to focus on exactly the right set of bookings at a time.

What it does

The Agency filter lets host agency admins drill into bookings by sub-agency. Instead of seeing all bookings across your entire agency hierarchy at once, you can select a specific agency from the dropdown to view only its bookings.

This filter appears in three places in Tern:

  • The Bookings tab (main bookings index)

  • The bookings sidebar within a Supplier Statement

  • The Unclaimed Bookings view

Who can use it

This filter is available to host agency admins only. It appears when your agency has at least one sub-agency beneath it. If your agency has no sub-agencies, the Agency filter will not appear.

How to use it

  1. Go to the Bookings tab from the left sidebar.

  2. Open the filter panel and locate the Agency dropdown.

  3. Select an agency from the dropdown. The list includes your host agency and all sub-agencies, sorted alphabetically.

  4. The bookings list updates to show only bookings belonging to the selected agency.

To return to the full view across all agencies, clear the Agency filter by selecting the blank option from the dropdown.

Note: The same Agency filter is available in the bookings sidebar of a Supplier Statement and in the Unclaimed Bookings view. It works the same way in each location.

You'll know it worked when

The bookings list refreshes and shows only bookings for the agency you selected.

Common issues

I don't see an Agency filter in my bookings.

This filter only appears for host agency admins whose agency has sub-agencies set up. If you're an admin but the filter isn't showing, your agency may not have any sub-agencies linked. Contact Tern support if you believe this is incorrect.

I can see the filter but a sub-agency is missing from the dropdown.

The dropdown only includes agencies within your hierarchy. If a sub-agency isn't listed, it may not be connected to your host agency. Reach out to Tern support to verify your agency structure.
