We're excited to announce Tern's Referral Program!
All current users can share a referral code found in their settings, offering newcomers a discount on their first month. As a token of appreciation, referrers will receive credits towards their subscription for every advisor who joins post-trial.
Program details
Rewards for Referrers (you): As a referrer, you will receive a $10 credit applied to your account once the referred user converts to a paid subscription.
Benefit for the Referred User**: When you invite someone, and they sign up, they will also receive a $10 discount on their first month of Tern after the two week trial period.
** Eligibility: Referral credits are valid only for new users who currently do not have a Tern account.
Getting your referral code
1. To find your referral code, first click on "Settings"
2. Next, navigate to Referrals
3. Select Get My Code
4. Finally, copy your code to refer your friends!
Using a referral code
1. When someone visits your referral code link, they will be directed to a landing page explaining the program
2. If they click 'sign up now' and follow the sign up flow, they'll see your referral code automatically populated
Tip: if they copy down your code and visit Tern later to sign up on their own, we also include a checkbox to input a referral code manually in the regular sign up flow!
3. When they check out, they'll see the two week trial + referral discount automatically applied
