Overview

The article below walks through some tips & tricks to make your landing page stand out. If you haven't already familiarized yourself with how group trips and landing pages work, we recommend starting with that article first!

Setting up self service signup via a form

If you would like trips automatically created under your group trip via an interest form, we recommend enabling this option. Learn more about how to do so here.

Set up a secondary call to action

You can use the custom CTA to direct clients send you an email, give you call, or visit any other link. Here's some quick tips on how to accomplish that.

Invite Travelers to Email You Directly

Encourage travelers to reach out via email for questions or quick info, ideal for those who prefer a direct approach.

How to Set It Up:

  • Use a mailto: link to open an email to you when a traveler clicks
    pre-fill an email draft.

  • In the Link input, type in mailto: followed by your email address, like mailto:[email protected]

  • Add relevant button label like “Email Us to Get Started” or “Have Questions? Email Us!”

Pro Tip: You can also pre-fill a subject line for their email by adding additional details to your email link like this:

mailto:[email protected]?subject=Interest%20in%20Group%20Tour. You'll add ?subject= after your email address, followed by the subject line. Then replace any spaces in the subject line with %20.

Enable a “Call Now” Option for Immediate Interest

For trips with limited availability or that benefit from a high-touch approach, a “Call Now” option lets travelers reach you instantly, adding a sense of urgency.

How to Set It Up:

  • Use a tel: link to initiate a call directly from mobile devices.

  • In the Link input, type in tel: followed by your phone number, like tel:+12345678900

  • Add relevant button label like “Call to Reserve Your Spot!” or "Give us a call!"

Making your landing page beautiful 😍

Build out your group itinerary

If you've built a group itinerary, clients will see a preview of what they can expect from your trip automatically. They can open each day to see a few of the planned activities, and click through to look at the trip in-depth.

Make the most of images

1. Add as many featured images as you want - the more the better!

Landing pages will automatically adapt to show 1-5 featured images, and look great no matter what.

And if you add more than 5 featured, we'll show them in a carousel - that looks beautiful on any screen size:

2. Embed images throughout your content sections

Using our editor, you can add images directly inline to the various sections you add.

Adding images throughout can really make your page stand out.

Leverage simple formatting & content sections

1. Adding new sections under the itinerary preview is a great way to add structure to your page. You can add as many of these sections as you want, and customize them with bullet points / other formatting, and images.

2. This can give your page an extra feeling of polish and structure for clients.

3. A special tip from our designer Brad - it can look nice if you don't overload the overview with too much content, and keep your advisor branded cover photo simple, to keep the top focus of your page on the featured images + itinerary.
