When updating a workflow and clicking Apply Updates, note that an alert will pop up before proceeding. This alert warns that upon applying updates, all trips with automations/tasks in the workflow will be updated. They will exactly match the workflow, including changes to incomplete tasks. Even if only a single new task is added, all tasks on the trips will reflect the workflow changes.
