Why aren't updates to email templates applying to workflows?

If updates to email templates aren't applying to workflows, verify the automation's connection to the email template. Update manually by deleting the old email in the automation and adding it again using the 'From Template' option. Click 'Apply Updates' on the automation template and 'Save & Close' to ensure changes reflect in linked workflows.
