Overview

To send a form to a client, you have a few options:

  • Insert it via Tern's 'insert form' emailing flow. Using this option will automatically associate any client responses to the trip 'forms' tab, if the email is sent from the trip (one-off or via an automation).

  • Hyperlink the form directly in any email. Using this option won't auto-associate any form responses, but you can still manually add them to your trips.

Read or watch more below to learn how to use either option!

Inserting forms in emails

Use our new 'Insert Form' option to more easily add a specific form to your email, templates and automations. When sending an email with an inserted form from a trip, responses will be automatically logged on that trip's forms tab.

Select the specific form to add (you can add multiple).

The form will show up below your message body.

If you send a message with an attached form directly from the trip (either as an applied automation or one-off), responses to that form will be automatically logged in that trip's forms tab.

Hyperlinking form links

Prefer to hyperlink a form directly in the body of your message? There's nothing wrong with that! Just directly grab that form link from your forms tab:

Hyperlink it in the message body:

When you get a response to your form, if you'd like to associate it to your trip you can tag the response to the trip. It will then appear in the forms tab of your trip for easy reference.
