Overview
Preferred status and tags surface the agency's supplier guidance directly to agents, both in the supplier library and when they're building trips. Use preferred to flag your own agency's recommended suppliers. Use tags to add any additional context you want agents to see, like consortia affiliations, cruise lines, regions, or specialties.
Who can use it
Agency admins can mark suppliers as preferred and manage tags. Agents have a view-only version of the agency supplier library and can filter and search by these attributes. Available to all agencies.
How to mark a supplier as preferred
Go to Library > Agency Suppliers.
Add a new supplier or open an existing one. You can edit any supplier in your list, not just newly added ones.
Set Agency Preferred to Yes.
Save. The supplier now shows as preferred in the agency supplier library for everyone at the agency.
How to add tags to a supplier
Open the supplier you want to tag from Library > Agency Suppliers.
Add one or more tags. Tags are free-form the first time you use them. Once you've created a tag, it becomes selectable for any other supplier, so you can build up a consistent set over time. There's no limit on how many tags a supplier can have.
Save.
Common tag examples: consortia preferred, cruise, river cruise, Europe, Caribbean, luxury, family.
What your agents see
In the agency supplier library Agents can filter the list by preferred status or by any tag you've created. This is where they go to browse your agency's full recommended list.
When building trips A star icon appears next to preferred suppliers in the supplier picker, and any tags you've added show in the list. Agents can also search by tag in the picker, so searching "river cruise" or "Europe" returns every supplier you've tagged that way.
After a booking is created The star and tags continue to show on the supplier in the booking record, so agents always have that context visible.
Note on editing and removing tags
Tags can't be deleted from the system once created. If you tag a supplier by mistake, remove the tag from that supplier individually. Cleaning up unused tags from the broader list isn't supported yet.
