This guide is designed to help advisors understand the various activities tracked within Tern. Today, activities are tracked on trips and contacts. You can see the activities under the activity tab.

Activities on Contacts

As an advisor using Tern, you can monitor several activities related to your contacts. These include:

Activity

Description

Form Completed

This activity is logged when a form linked to a contact is completed. It helps you track the completion of necessary documents or feedback forms.

Contact Created

Notifies you when a new contact is created through a form response, allowing you to keep track of expanding client lists.

Created Account

Indicates when a contact creates a user account. This is useful when trying to understand if a contact has signed up for Tern and can thus access detailed itinerary information.

Note Created

A note was created and associated with the contact record.

Agreed to Terms & Conditions

A contact agreed to your Terms & Conditions via a Form in Tern

Activities on Trips

Tracking activities related to trips is vital for effective trip management. Here are the activities you can see:

Description

Trip Created

Indicates when the trip was created.

Trip Published

Created each time the trip is published.

Trip Status Updated

Created each time the status of the trip changes.

Trip Created from From

Indicates when a trip was automatically created from a new trip request form.

Note created

Indicates a note was created and associated with the trip.

Traveler associated with trip

Indicates a traveler/contact was associated with this trip.

Itinerary created

A new itinerary was created

Itinerary deleted

A itinerary was removed/deleted from the trip.

Itinerary status updated

The status of an itinerary was updated.

Agreed to Terms & Conditions

A contact agrees to your Terms & Conditions when requesting a Trip via a Form

Trip unpublished

When you unpublish a trip - which makes it inaccessible to any travelers it is shared with

Trip itinerary approved or revisions requested

When a traveler approves a trip itinerary or requests revisions to your trip
