Navigate to the trips page, the default home page in Tern.

Click "Create Trip" at the top left of the Trip Overview page.

Select the dates in the trip details using the date picker.

Review and confirm the dates, then click "Create Trip". To modify dates later, go to the Itinerary tab, click the three dots next to Option 1, choose 'edit itinerary', and update the dates there.
