Duplicating a Trip in Tern

Use Tern's trip duplication feature to clone an existing trip and decide what data you want to bring over on the new trip.

To duplicate a trip in Tern you can use the Duplicate Trip option within the Overview settings.

This is part of Tern's broader trip management functionality, which enables users to duplicate, customize, and efficiently manage their itineraries.

1. Open up a trip in Tern

2. Select the Overview tab on the left

Click the three dot option select and click Duplicate Trip

3. Select which items you want to duplicate

You will have the option to copy:

  • Travelers

  • Prices, Commissions, and Trip Packages

  • Tasks and Reset Tasks to Incomplete

  • Documents

You will also have the option to set the Trip Status.

After duplication, the trip can be customized further by editing details such as the trip title, pricing, and other related features.

Additional Trip Management Features

Tern offers additional tools to enhance trip management, such as:

  • Creating and Pricing Packages: Use the Pricing tab to set up packages with per-person pricing based on traveler count.

  • Displaying Different Itineraries: Showcase multiple packages under distinct itineraries on the landing page, allowing clients to choose their preferred options.
