We’re excited to introduce the new rich text editor in Tern, now available in Notes on Trips and Notes on Contacts. This is a beta release, and we’re actively working through a roadmap to bring the editor to additional areas of the application.

This rollout allows us to gather feedback, refine the experience, and ensure performance and stability before a broader launch. We appreciate your input as you test it out.

The new editor brings a streamlined and flexible experience to writing and formatting notes. Here’s what you’ll notice when using it:

When you open the editor, you’ll see a simplified toolbar at the top that clearly shows available formatting options. This makes it easy to create organized, readable notes - whether you’re typing fresh content or copying from another source.

When pasting notes from other tools or documents, the editor preserves:
