We’ve made a few important updates to how receipts and documents work in Tern. These changes should make it easier for you to keep everything organized and share the right files with your travelers.
New Documents Tab on Packages and Insurance
You’ll now see a Documents tab on packages and insurance items. This is where you can store and share documents related to those bookings.
Access Across the Trip
Documents added to individual bookings—including activities, packages, and insurance—are also accessible in the overall Documents tab for a trip. Both you and your clients will be able to find everything in one place.
Note: Clients will not see documents related to rejected itineraries, optional items they've declined, or declined insurance options.
Receipts Are Now Documents
Previously, you could upload receipts in two places: under Confirmations & Receipts or under Documents. We’ve simplified things—now all receipts live in the Documents tab on activities, packages, and insurance items. From there, you can choose whether or not to make them visible to travelers.
Note: Any receipts you previously uploaded in the Confirmations & Receipts section of a booking have been moved to the Documents tab for that booking. By default, these receipts are hidden from travelers, but you can adjust their visibility at any time.
