When you add insurance options to a trip, you can control whether clients are allowed to skip the insurance selection screen or must make a choice before moving on.
Default behavior
For new trips, insurance selection is required by default. This means that if you've added insurance options, clients must either select a policy or explicitly opt out before they can proceed past the insurance screen.
How to change the setting
Open the trip and go to the Insurance tab.
Find the Insurance Settings section.
Toggle Allow clients to skip selection on or off.
When the toggle is off (the default), clients cannot skip. When it's on, clients can choose to come back and select insurance later.
When to use each setting
Require selection (default, toggle off): Use this when you want to make sure insurance is addressed before anything else is finalized. Clients must select a policy or actively opt out β they can't just skip past it.
Allow skipping (toggle on): Use this earlier in the planning process when you've added insurance options but don't yet need a decision. Clients can review and come back. When you're ready to finalize, turn the toggle off to require a choice.
