Simple steps to create a fixed or hourly rate request and find a good match.
Lucia makes it simple to hire freelancers for specific projects with a fixed budget. If you need a one-time task completed, creating a fixed request is the perfect solution. If you need ongoing work with a CoPilot or prefer to pay hourly, creating an hourly request is the best solution.
Here’s how to do it in just a few steps.
Step 1: Log in to Your Lucia Account
Head over to the Lucia platform and log in. If you’re not yet a member, sign up to get access to expert freelancers.
Step 2: Visit Your Workspace and “Post a Job”
On your dashboard, click the “Post a Job” button. A new request window will display.
Step 3: Fill Out the Request Form
Provide detailed information to help us match you with the right freelancer:
Skills Required: Select relevant skills from the dropdown menu, like graphic design or virtual assistant services. Alternatively, start typing skills, and they will auto-populate.
Request Description: What are you looking to accomplish? Outline what you need. Specify weekly or monthly hours to set clear expectations. State your expected turnaround time for tasks. The more detailed, the better!
Job Title: Be specific, e.g., "Social Media Management Support."
Select a CoPilot: Share the request with all CoPilots or send it as a direct request to a specific CoPilot.
Set a Rate: Structure your request as an Hourly Rate or Pay a Fixed Rate.
Step 4: Review and Submit
Please double-check the accuracy of your request details before hitting Submit. The request will be sent to the selected CoPilot(s).
Step 5: Reply to Messages and Begin Request
You will receive offers from prospective CoPilots eager to complete the request. Offers will populate below the work request, where you can review, view profiles, send messages, and Accept/Decline offers.

Be Clear and Specific: Ensure you have properly communicated the exact needs, set expectations for deliverables and typical time spent on the task.
Be Responsive: Reply to the CoPilot messages to secure the best match.
Use the Message Feature: Communicate securely and efficiently within the Lucia platform.
