This article covers the Terms & Conditions attached to an individual booking. To edit your account-wide Terms & Conditions, see the Related section below.
Booking Terms & Conditions vs. account Terms & Conditions
These are two separate features, and they are edited in different places.
Booking Terms & Conditions are attached to a single booking on its Booking & Pricing tab. This is what this article covers.
Account Terms & Conditions live in Settings > Waivers & Agreements and apply across your forms. You edit those by typing directly in the text box there.
If you added Terms & Conditions to a specific hotel, flight, or activity booking, you are working with a booking Terms & Conditions, and the steps below apply.
How editing works
A booking's Terms & Conditions does not have an inline edit button or an editable text box. Once it is attached, you have two controls:
A link showing the current value ("Custom Description" for custom text, the web address for a link, or "View File" for an uploaded file). This link opens a read-only view in a new tab.
A trash icon that removes the Terms & Conditions from the booking.
To change the wording, remove the current Terms & Conditions and add it again with the updated text.
How to update a booking's Terms & Conditions
Open the booking and go to the Booking & Pricing tab.
Scroll to the Terms & Conditions section.Click the trash icon next to the current Terms & Conditions.
This removes it from the booking. Confirm when prompted.Click "Add Terms & Conditions".

Select Custom Text to type or paste your terms, Weblink to link to a webpage, or File Upload to attach a document.Enter the complete, updated text in the editor, then save.
If you are updating custom text, paste the full version you want, not just the new addition, since this replaces the previous entry.
You'll know it worked when
The Terms & Conditions section on the Booking & Pricing tab shows your updated entry. This saved version is what your client sees when they complete the booking authorization.
Common issues
There is no text box or edit button on the "Custom Description" link.
That link is view-only and opens in a new tab. To change the content, remove the current Terms & Conditions with the trash icon and add it again with the updated text.
I only want to add a sentence, not retype everything.
Editing in place is not available for a booking's Terms & Conditions. When you add the new entry, paste your full text including the addition.
I edited my Terms & Conditions in Settings but the booking didn't change.
Settings > Waivers & Agreements controls your account Terms & Conditions, which is separate from a booking's Terms & Conditions. Update the booking directly using the steps above.
