Why are my separate room prices being added together on the authorization page?
If you created separate lodging activity blocks (one per room), each should show its own price and authorization status independently. If they're being combined, check whether the rooms were accidentally placed inside a Package on the Bookings tab — packages group items under a single price. Also verify that each room is its own lodging block, not multiple rooms within a single block using room options. If the pricing still looks wrong, contact support with your trip name and the lodging items in question.
How do I add a booking my client arranged themselves — like an Airbnb — to their trip itinerary?
A: Clients cannot add items to a trip directly. You add all itinerary content yourself on their behalf.
To add a client-sourced lodging option like an Airbnb:
Go to the trip's Itinerary tab.
Drag a Lodging activity onto the appropriate date.
Enter the property name and fill in the details manually — check-in and check-out dates, address, and any notes.
You can upload images of the property and add a link to the listing in the description or notes fields.
You can also add pricing and booking details if you want to track cost.
Because the property isn't in Tern's database, it won't auto-populate details. Everything is entered manually.
