Tern & Learn is Tern's online training course platform where you can access bite-sized lessons on how to optimize your understanding of the Tern platform.

Tern & Learn does require a separate login to access it. You'll want to use the same email as your Tern login email.

  • Tern & Learn login email: should be the same as your Tern login email

  • Tern & Learn password: you'll need to sign up for Tern & Learn with a different password

  • You must sign up and join a course before you can start any of the trainings.

You can access Tern and Learn by clicking the "Help" button on the top toolbar when logged into Tern. This will now prompt you with a drop-down. You have the option to access the Help Center or Tern & Learn. I always recommend popping both open as you start your training so you know what's available to you.

1. Click 'Help' when logged into Tern in the top navigation bar

2. Select Tern & Learn to be taken to the training courses

Today, as noted above, Tern & Learn is not integrated with the Tern platform. That means you'll need to create a new account when accessing the training content for the first time. As shown below by selecting 'Create Tern & Learn Account.'

3. This is what you should see when you select 'Sign Up.' Fill out these details with the same email you used for Tern and a different password.

At which point, your account is new created. Remember these credentials to access Tern & Learn in the future!

๐Ÿ’ก Save these credentials in a password manager for easy future access.

4. Next, you need to 'Join Course' to open up the content

You'll likely notice that at first it appears that all the courses are locked. They remain that way until you sign up (which creates your account) and then select 'Join Course.'

To join courses, navigate to Courses on the left sidebar.

From here, you can select 'Join Course' on each course you would like to take. We recommend taking all of them!

Next you will be directed to create a profile on Circle. You have the option to skip this if you would like.

5. Now each course you joined will show your progress. And you're off to the races!

Simply continue to join the courses to begin them and work your way through!
