Background
Every trip has a pre-travel itinerary "day", which allows you to use Tern activities normally outside of the regular date structure. This can be useful for:
"Know before you go" lists and reminders
Activities under consideration that don't have a specific date yet
Other general trip information
How it works
Every trip will automatically include a pre-travel itinerary "day". If you don't change the title or add any activities, it will not show up to your client at all.
Click the pen icon to edit the title of the day.
Add activities to it normally
Itinerary templates will function normally with pre-travel days - all information will be saved and added normally via the template. If you have other itinerary items and choose which day of your trip to insert them on, the pre-travel day will not be counted.
What your clients see
Activities in your pre-travel day will show up normally on the client itinerary, under your custom header for both web and mobile. They will always be before "Day 1".
