Overview
Tern will be rolling out Group Travel features throughout the Fall of 2024 and Q1 of 2025.
Timeline
Features that are further out are subject to change, and we may need to reorder specific pieces based on the feedback we get, and how the work gets broken down as we further plan on the product and engineering side. We will keep this table updated as timelines shift!

We are also tracking additional improvements to add to our roadmap! As they are slated, they will be moved to the timeline view above.

Email targeting | Improved targeting logic to more easily email “all travelers” or all “primary contacts” across a group trip. |
Workflow management | Address the most critical needs around how workflows & automations should work at a group / sub trip level. |
Authorization & payment reports | See authorizations/payment reporting across all trips within the group. |
Beyond the features above, we've also heard requests for 'group leader' access, easier export of data (like client flight info) to suppliers, group chat, additional group-level reports, and more.
Group trip payments
Finally, we know that when planning groups there can be different needs around trip payments. Tern is currently researching how to support host and independent agency needs related to this. Specific features under consideration include improved support for collecting service/planning fees for your agents, direct payments for trips (where funds are deposited into a host or independent agency bank account), and trip funds (where funds are centrally managed via Tern).
