Lucia service fees

It’s free to create an account, browse CoPilots, and post a request. You only pay once you hire. CoPilots set their own hourly or package rates, and Lucia adds a small platform fee that covers customer support, secure payments, and tax processing.

What are the fees for using Lucia?

Lucia charges a service fee based on the project's total cost. This fee covers platform maintenance, customer support, and ensures a secure transaction environment. Choose a subscription level or just pay-to-hire.

- Free Membership: no monthly fee + 20% service fee on top of work payments

- Paid Membership: $39/month or $390/annually + 10% service fee

- Weekly Retainers: auto-renew subscription with a CoPilot for 5, 10 or 20 hours a week + 0% service fee

How are payments handled?

All payments are processed through Lucia's secure platform using Stripe. Payments are held until project completion and your approval.

What is your refund policy?

If a project is canceled or not completed as agreed, Lucia offers a refund policy. Each case is evaluated individually to ensure fairness for both parties.

Does Lucia handle taxes for CoPilots?

Yes. All payments are processed through our platform, and we issue the required 1099 forms directly to CoPilots at the end of the year. That means no extra paperwork or headaches for advisors. You pay through Lucia, and we handle the rest behind the scenes—clean, compliant, and stress-free.
