For TPI advisors.
Questions about pricing, fees, or what your license includes
Your Tern license is provided through your TPI membership, so TPI is the right place for any questions about membership fees, license costs, or what's covered. Tern support isn't able to answer questions about TPI's pricing.

I already paid for my own Tern subscription. What happens to it?
Individual advisor subscriptions are cancelled automatically when you accept your TPI invitation, and a prorated refund for the unused time is applied automatically.
Agency subscriptions (an existing plan for your whole agency) are not cancelled automatically. Wait until everyone on your team is confirmed on a TPI seat, then cancel your previous subscription. Canceling first could leave someone without access. When you cancel, a prorated refund is applied automatically.
To check whether someone is on a TPI seat, look at Team & Billing: "Seat paid by" should show TPI. For help cancelling an existing subscription, or if a refund doesn't appear as expected, contact Tern support.
AI usage and upgrades
Your TPI license includes AI usage, and you can see how much you've used directly in the app. If you need more, Tern offers optional upgrades that are arranged directly with Tern. For how usage limits and upgrades work, see AI Usage Limits and Tern Pro.
What if I leave TPI?
Your data stays yours. If you leave TPI, your Tern account can be transitioned so you keep access to your information and can continue using Tern independently.
